Consultations are free screenings to better understand your family’s communication needs, discuss your concerns, and identify how Therapy in the Hills can help.

Consultation & Observation:

Classroom observations help us understand how children communicate, interact, and participate in their natural learning environments. We observe communication, play, attention, behavior, and social interactions to identify strengths, challenges, and opportunities for support. Families and educators receive a written summary with recommendations and practical strategies for supporting communication and participation in the classroom.

Communication Support:

Speech, language, and social interaction are at the foundation of a child’s ability to learn and communicate. We support children with autism, speech, language, and other communication difficulties through play-based therapy, with a special focus on helping parents and caregivers develop communication during everyday activities and interactions.

Growing Communicators:

Dr. Ethan conducts individual and group workshops for parents, teachers, and other professionals on a variety of topics including autism, communication development, play-based learning, behavior support, speech and language disorders, and language differences. Workshops focus on developing practical strategies and everyday practices that help adults create more opportunities for communication, connection, and learning.
